The consequences of missing teeth become worse with time. If you're missing a tooth, your surrounding teeth may drift, you may lose bone mass where the tooth used to be, and you likely won't be able to eat all the same foods you once enjoyed. If you’re missing one or more teeth, dental implants are a safe and effective way to restore your smile.
Our doctors specialize in cosmetic and restorative dental implants. Each dental implant has two parts: the root implant, which is a small post made of titanium, and the crown. The root implant is placed into the bone socket of the missing tooth, and replaces the missing tooth’s roots. A porcelain white crown, which perfectly matches the natural color of your teeth, is then secured to the post. Though implant dentistry takes time to complete, the results are defiantly worth it. The dental implant's anchor requires a certain amount of time to fuse to the bone before the replacement tooth, or crown, can be attached. The amount of time varies from patient to patient, but we can give you an accurate time estimate with your consultation.
